Droidmobile Part 2

Took out a whole bunch of unneeded wiring added to the van that did not work anyway and put the wire harness back to factory specs.
Replaced the broken shift cable and column shift selector.
Tore out all the carpet, scrubbed the heck out of everything. Sealed any rust or open holes in the inner body and installed new carpet.
Van is looking a lot better! The Astromechs and my wife approve!

Droidmobile Part 1

Bought my late brothers old van to help his wife out as well as finally have a vehicle other than my Truck to haul the robots in. It needs a lot of work. It don't shift, lights don't work, locks all busted, windows broken, rust and water everywhere. Wiring a mess everywhere, no radio, dents, missing bolts and broken seats,
Well, time to get to work!

Orange for BB

After lots of priming and sanding BB is finally ready for his orange paint. Takes longer to tape everything off than it does to paint it. LOL

Pit Droid

Got another secret project together today! Pippin the Pit Droid! This is his first test fits together before being taken back apart to be painted.

Are these your eggs?

Hey Pippin! Get away from there!!!

On to the boring stuff!

Most of the projects are to the stage of filling and sanding work. Not my favorite part of a build but a necessary one if you want your project to look good. :)
