New project!

I am starting on a new project for an up and coming Convention and one of the items I need are; believe it or not,  bed frames.  It does not matter what size frames they are as long as they are the kind pictured below.
I do not care if the wheels are broke or missing parts.  You can drop them off at my place or I can pick them up if needed if they are in the Bellevue/Omaha Nebraska area. You can get a hold of me at Darth_moose74@yahoo.com.  Thanks for any help in advance! :D

Custom dome wheel

I can not afford to get another dome wheel right now so I decided to make one from some spare round stock I have.
I started with the collar by cutting the round stock to length and marked the center for a through hole.
After the center hole was drilled I made three surrounding holes.

I then tapped threads into the three smaller holes that will later hold the actual wheel.

Last I drilled two more holes on the side of the collar and tapped them for bolts. These will be used to to tighten the collar to the motor shaft.

Next time I will work on the wheel itself.

Hockey troop!

We trooped a local hockey game last night and it was a blast to get out and do a big troop again!

Fans and friends alike came to cheer us on!

Just a quick video update on K-9. His eye is now fully functional with two modes of movement instead of one. It is fully adjustable and removable for repairs. Hope you like it! Please subscribe to my youtube channel for other updates!

Scout Troop

Saturday we had a troop with some local cub scouts and together raised $300.00 for Make a Wish. The scouts, kids, and adults alike were happy to see us. It was a fun troop. It was a constant flow of people so not much time to take pictures, here are a few we were able to take.

Just having fun

Just a little update to let you know that on my facebook page I am doing a fun little photo thing with my K-9 build.  I will probably not be posting much on here as it does not actually pertain to the main building of the robots I make.  Here is a sample of the silly stuff I am doing. Bracket Racket

Did a little work tonight. I made a pile of brackets for various robot projects from R2 to T3 to K-9.
Here are just a few of them. Two are for K-9 and one is for T3's body.

Ok, now I am building. Sucker!

Over the holidays a friend's kid had a toy that happened to have the right sized and shape sucker for K-9's eye!  I traded some 3D glasses for one of the suckers they had. They don't remember where they got the toy but I am keeping my eye out for anything that looks like it.
I also did a bit more dialing in on all the gadgets and motors but nothing worth reporting yet. Here is two pictures of what the sucker looks like.
