Tonight I did some work on the R3 dome. Jen helped paint the inside of the wood loom ring for the dome.
I cut a notch in the back side of the bottom ring so the loom ring will fit.
The wood block that holds the ring together is centered over the panel that has the rear PSI light so it will be well hidden.
I cut the bottom of the dome to the right height and the dome fits snug over the loom ring. I then stuck a thumb tack in the top of the dome to hold the template to draw the pencil lines. Once drawn I masked off the lines with tape.
This is all the taping I got done tonight.
