Custom dome wheel

I can not afford to get another dome wheel right now so I decided to make one from some spare round stock I have.
I started with the collar by cutting the round stock to length and marked the center for a through hole.
After the center hole was drilled I made three surrounding holes.

I then tapped threads into the three smaller holes that will later hold the actual wheel.

Last I drilled two more holes on the side of the collar and tapped them for bolts. These will be used to to tighten the collar to the motor shaft.

Next time I will work on the wheel itself.
